From Information To Transformation: A Contemplative Practice For The Kingdom
by Dr. Ioana Popa
We live in an age filled with knowledge but, as you know, there's a difference between information and transformation. So how do we navigate all the information which is available to us, in order to experience transformation?
There are many ways to transform in Christ, one of which is using contemplative practices.
Contemplations are very helpful, because during the practices, we allow for alignment and integration between our left brain and right brain, between our logical mind and our Godly wisdom/intuition.
And, as a certified meditation & mindfulness teacher, I use our Christian Faith ALWAYS as a foundation.
Because of the power of contemplative practices, I even included in all my programs short daily lessons, with teaching, a contemplative practice, a bible verse and a journaling prompt. I see this as a habit to train our subconscious, our 'slow brain,' which needs time and lots of reinforcements.
And today, I invite you to spend a few minutes in a Contemplative Practice with an amazing Bible Verse (I will not spoil it for you)!
