At the end of the day we might have lots of emotions and it might be tricky sometimes to know what to do with them, besides shutting them down, as we just want some quiet time!
From science, psychology and my decades of working with people (and with myself :) around emotional regulation, I know that our Emotional Intelligence is different than our 'logical' mind intelligence, with different 'laws' and needs.
Once we understand how emotions truly operate and what their function is, it becomes easier for us to get to know ourselves, and soothe emotions whenever they surface or become strong.
